From dreams to adventure: Joyce's journey to work in Malta

The first step: finding a job

To be honest, I had no idea where to start. I was only 19 years old and I knew I wanted to have a unique experience, but I didn't have a specific destination or job in mind. What I did know? I wanted to start a new chapter! During my job search, I came across Yobbers on Instagram.

Of course, I was nervous when I started applying for jobs. The idea of working abroad was thrilling but also intimidating. What if it becomes too overwhelming? Moving to Malta

I met another girl trough Yobbers who was also relocating to Malta. We decided to look for an apartment together, which was a huge relief. Together, we found a place online, and it felt like I had a buddy from day one in this new adventure! Finding an apartment went smoothly, and I quickly felt at home in my new place. 🏠

An unforgettable experience

My time in Malta was one of the best experiences of my life! Leaving my ‘old life’ behind was scary, but it was so worth it. I discovered so much about myself, made amazing new friends and grew in ways I never expected.

The support from Yobbers really made all the difference. They were always there for me, whether I had questions or just needed an extra boost of motivation. With their help, I never felt alone, even in a completely new environment.
