Now we are looking for an Email & Communication Specialist to join our team.

About the role
As an Email and Communication Specialist, you will not only be responsible for email marketing but also overall communication and copywriting. It is crucial to set up and implement a strategy to effectively engage with our candidates at the right moment in their journey of moving abroad. While email communication continues to be an important tool for connecting with our audience, the integration of newer communication channels like WhatsApp and Chat is equally indispensable. Your ability to oversee the touchpoints of our candidate journey will enable us to connect with the right candidates, delivering the appropriate message at the perfect moment to ensure their optimal preparation for their time abroad. You play a vital role in connecting with our audience and finding new ways to stay in touch and communicate effectively with everyone eager to live and work abroad.

What do you have to do?

Creating a strategy to effectively engage and inspire our audience via multiple communication channels, with the main focus being email
Map out and guard the candidate journey with all communication touchpoints and define areas of improvement
Ensure flawless communication with our candidates via emails and other channels, such as WhatsApp
Planning, scheduling and coordinating weekly email campaigns and automations
Leading a team of copywriters and ensuring our content is inspiring and aligned throughout all our channels
Proactively AB test and come up with ways to improve engagement with our audience and implement new ideas

What do we expect of you?

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (German or Dutch are a plus)
At least Bachelor Degree and 4 years of experience in email marketing and marketing communications in B2C, preferably in a start-up environment
Ability to think strategically and understand the entire scope of our candidate journey
Proactiveness to make a change and impact with the engagement with our audience
Strong organisational skills to ensure smooth processes while leading a team of copywriters
A growth-oriented mindset, combined with an open and eager approach to think along and help Yobbers the next level
