Le Printemps de Bourges - Bourges, France

Le Printemps de Bourges is a five-day artistic festival taking place in Bourges, a town located some 100 km from Orleans. Both local and international artists descend on France at the end of April to give amazing performances for people all around the world. The great thing about this festival is that tickets are sold separately per performance or show. In this way, you can personalise your festival experience completely. Even though the festival is international, the city does not feel too crowded and concerts exude an intimate atmosphere. In addition,  Bourges is a cosy city that is definitely worth a visit. Book your tickets and enjoy spring in Bourges!

Tickets for all performances can be bought here

Easter - Germany

We agree, Easter is celebrated just about everywhere in the world. However, some countries go a step further and make it a real folk festival, like Germany. There, people are also free on Good Friday and Easter Monday, which means four days of celebration! On Holy Saturday, "Osterfeuer", i.e. Easter bonfires are lit all over the country. Stalls with food and drinks are set up near the Easter fire, and traditional games are played. In some places, haybales are also set on fire and rolled down a hill. Activities vary depending on the town, but keywords are warmth, atmosphere, conviviality and lots of fun!

Dia da Liberdade - Portugal

Dia da Liberdade is Portugal’s national holiday. It commemorates the Carnation Revolution, which made Portugal a democracy. Celebrations take place all over the country, but the centre of the festivities can be found in Lisbon. Immerse yourself in the party atmosphere, join a parade, sing and dance along to the music and enjoy a dazzling fireworks display in the evening. You do not have to be native Portuguese to experience this warm feeling of national belonging.
