Valencia is not only a city with a historic old town, beautiful sandy beaches and typical landmarks; there are many more hotspots that make the city so unique! Did you know that Yobbers has an office in Valencia? Our team has thoroughly explored the city and discovered amazing places. In this blog post, we'll tell you more about the 6 most popular Yobbers hotspots in Valencia!
1. El Palmar
El Palmar is a small fishing village located in the Albufera Natural Park. The island is surrounded by rice and vegetable gardens and is known for its traditional huts made of mud and reeds. Visit El Palmar and take a boat ride, enjoy nature, and admire one of the most beautiful sunsets in the area! If you love paella, you're in the perfect place in this fishing village because here you can enjoy the most delicious paella! El Palmar is famous for its unique local gastronomy. ¡Buen provecho!
2. Jardín del Turia
The Jardín del Turia is not only featured on numerous websites and travel guides, but it's also one of the favourite spots of our Yobbers team in Valencia! The park, which stretches over nine kilometres, borders Parque de Cabecera and Bioparc to the west and extends all the way to the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias, another highlight in Valencia. The park is close to our Yobbers office and can be reached within a few minutes walk. We find it to be an ideal place to relax and enjoy the sun during lunch breaks. The park is also great for outdoor workouts or walks!
Our tip: Explore the Jardín del Turia (and Valencia) by bike as you can discover a part of the attractions.
3. Playa de Pinedo
Another favourite spot of our Yobbers team is the area around Playa de Pinedo. There, you'll find beautiful beaches, delicious food, and lovely walks. We recommend cycling from there to Albufera Natural Park. This way, you can spend a day with your new colleagues and friends, getting to know the city better while working in Valencia.
4. Café de las Horas
Have you ever tasted Agua de Valencia? If not, you must try it at Café de las Horas, where you can experience this typical Valencian drink made with orange juice, cava, vodka, gin, and sugar. They claim to have the best Agua de Valencia, and we were not disappointed. The café is one of the most extraordinary places in Valencia and has been around for 25 years. This experience is not to be missed! ¡Salud!
Our tip: Try the famous Valencian drink at different bars and let us know your favourite place!
5. Restaurant Voltereta Manhattan
Another Yobbers tip: a visit to Restaurant Voltereta Manhattan! Here, a unique experience awaits you as you immerse yourself in a story from the past and travel back in time to the 1920s in Manhattan. Enjoy the amazing atmosphere created by countless lights and cosy designs. Let yourself be surprised by many other characteristic details as you spend an evening there with your new friends. We are confident that you won't be disappointed!
Our tip: If you love a tropical atmosphere and island vibes, take a trip to Indonesia and visit Restaurant Voltereta Bali.
6. Mya Club Valencia
Do you want to experience Spanish nightlife and enjoy R&B, dance, and electro music? Then Mya Club is the place for you! Located in the Ciudad de las Artes y Ciencias district (City of Arts and Sciences), we find it to have a fantastic atmosphere and a chic location. And that's not all: Mya Club is connected to the open-air nightclub Umbracle, where you can dance outside and enjoy a stunning view on warm summer evenings. While living in Valencia, this is definitely a great place to spend the night occasionally!
