Your new role
Your primary responsibility will be to enhance our online presence and increase organic traffic. This involves a variety of SEO tasks, including keyword research, on- and off-page optimization, and linkbuilding strategies. You will also conduct thorough analyses of our website's performance, identify opportunities for improvement, do competitor analysis, search intent mapping, and improve SERP rankings.
As a Content & SEO Specialist, you will play a significant role in shaping and executing our content strategy. Using your exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, you will create engaging and user-focused content such as blogs, landing pages, and other material that aligns with our goals. We have a team of talented interns to assist you with copywriting and your role will involve coordinating this team.
On top of that, you will use analytic tools and data-driven insights to measure the performance of content and SEO efforts. You’ll adapt strategies, maximise results, and use A/B testing to optimize conversion rates and ROI.

We’re a fast-paced scale-up with international ambitions. We have two offices: one in Leeuwarden and one in Valencia. Our young team has a lot of different personalities and cultures, so you’ll hear accents from all over the world, and occasionally some exciting barks from our office dogs! What will I do?

Develop and execute content strategies: plan and create engaging, SEO-optimized and trending content that aligns with Yobbers’ mission and goals

Optimise for search engines: conduct keyword research, implement on-page and off-page SEO tactics

Analyse and report performance: use tools such as Google Analytics and Search Console to measure content and SEO performance, providing actionable insights

Enhance user experience: collaborate with designers and developers to ensure content is visually appealing and optimised for readability and conversion

Lead outreach initiatives: build relationships with external creators, manage backlink campaigns, and enhance Yobbers’ online presence
What do I bring?

Proven expertise: 3+ years of experience in content creation and SEO, with a track record of driving organic growth

Technical know-how: strong knowledge of SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs) and CMS platforms

Analytical skills: ability to interpret data, run A/B tests, and optimize content strategies based on performance metrics

Creativity & communication: exceptional English and Dutch or German writing skills and the ability to craft content that resonates with our audience
